Where older men with experience in life and expertise in various skills come to pursue their hobbies and talk with mates about anything and everything. Many of these older men have the opportunity to become mentors to younger men who, through no fault of their own, have grown up in a home without a stable male role model.

Future Directions
To secure funding and complete 6 metre extension with acoustic insulation for the whole building to allow SIX DAY OPERATION
To continue development of a safe shed environment
To further translate skills held by long-experienced Shed members to others both in and outside the shed.
To grow Shed membership and attendance beyond the current two days.
To bring about more Shed usage including, indigenous youth, students at risk, disabled & women.
To assess need and if required enable a regular ladies' day.
To assess need and enable Saturday opening for men in 5-day weekly employment.
To subcontract to Mary McKillop Mens Shed the manufacture of components for child wheel chairs to Timor and Cambodia for child landmine victims.
To develop communication and linkage relationships and partnerships with other Men's Sheds.
NOT to employ any management or operational persons.
To direct the Shed as a community resource.
To be open and receptive to community needs and aspirations which can be supplied or serviced by the Shed.
To develop and expanding work projects.
To develop knowledge, education & programs for men, in health issues hearing from other community groups, produce a place for men to socialise not necessarily in a work program.
Currently, woodworking with all types of machines to make toys, turned timber to make bowls etc, to repair chairs and tables,and any other project you wish to do with timber +some metalwork
