This Stand was built in an extraordinary short time, then on to Philip to colour and finish spray. Is'nt wonderful what we do for our Children.

WALLY'S STEPPING AWAY

"EXCERPTS FROM WALLY'S LETTER OF RESIGNATION"

Dear Members,

As one of the founding team of the Kincumber Mens Shed, and one who has had a passionate drive
to see this very worthwhile Community facility give birth and grow into what we have today, all of you,
its members, have every reason to be very proud of your achievements todate.  It is very hard to step
aside, and hand the baton to a new driver to take KMS to new levels of success and achievements in
serving its members and the community it serves.

Many of you have been aware that I had a number of external pressures on me which meant I was not
able to give KMSS the time it required in the role I accepted. I have been very conscious that I was
not fulfilling my responsibilities. Recently I have recieved medical reports that have added to my life
pressure. These require immediate attention and will mean less time availablity for KMS, over the next
months.

I have given the whole matter a lot of soul searching and in the interests of the KMS I wish to resign
from my nominated role as Coordinating Chairperson.  I will remain a general member. I am more than
willing to play a consulting role, if and when required, as time permits. I also need to resign as the KMS
delegate to the Central Coast Sheds Cluster Group.

Thank you ALL for your friendship, your advice, your appreciated input and at times robust discussions,
in the last 3 years.  It is my sincere hope that as my pressures subside, I will be back to enjoy working
at KMS as an ordinary member.

Thank every one of you for a great experience at KMS.

Signed
WALLY MORISON.

Frank N with photos of His Grandson

Frank N is having a short stay in a Private Hospital at Woy Woy. A little time back, Frank brought these photos of His Grandson jumping ship, to KMS and asked if they could be framed, well for Our Senior Member we went to work, select picture frame from stock, then to the compound mitre saw, Kincumber Glass for glass and Philip C for a little TLC on frame, job finished.
Frank, a few years back was Stroke for the North Styne surf-boat and in His time they won a couple of National Titles.
The things you learn about a Bloke when you can get them to talk about themselves, Get Well Soon Frank, We Miss You!

Brian's Project, can you work-out what it is?

Brian has a project where he is using Forest Red Gum (Eucalyptus tereticcornis) and Huon Pine (Dacrydium franklinii). He is cutting them into 10mm strips, they will be glued and clamped then put through the thickness machine to 9mm. We will show you more pic's as the project moves along. You can see that 1 of our members has been to Bali, not bad cold on a Hot Day.
Can you work out what it will be ?
I know.

Why the BIG SMILE on Alan?

I was looking at some Pic's I had on File and had a close look at this one. I noticed the Big smile on Alan's face. On thinking about this, I realised that Alan had spent that much time on doing up the Old trailer to look like this, He was so very Happy to see it go.
Here He makes sure John Roberts connects it up safely.

Where Members Rarely Look!

Paul Guillagme reproduction

When I got the 'phone call, Daaad I need help, the same sort of call I get from both my daughters every now and then, I knew I was in trouble. You see Kimberley, the mother of 2 of my Grandsons, is a BA FA Hons Dip ED and she comes up with some good-ones. This time it is a reproduction canvas she purchased on EBay from Switzerland. So off the local hardware with her for timber for the stretcher, then to KMS to cut, chamfer, mitre joints, glue and sanding, then it's to work with the staple gun. I just love doing this with her, you see I did this for 4 years while she worked on her Degree with the rough tools I had at home, now I do it at the SHED and have her pose while I take the Pic's.
